The White Perrin House by Dock4 Architecture
Dock4 Architecture have designed the White Perrin house in Tasmania, Australia.

.
Description from the architect:
Situated on a steep site with sweeping views to the open ocean, this new dwelling was designed to make the most of it’s spectacular context. Views to the east are captured from every room of the house, while a 5 star energy efficiency rating was achieved through careful attention to the passage of the sun and high value double glazing and insulation.

This home is fantastic. I wonder what price per square foot in the USA to replicate?

The natural light coming into the main living room and dining area is stunning, perfectly designed to take advantage of that view!

One question, where’s the stove?

Hey Joe (ooh good name for a song…) you can see the stove (just) in pic 9. Above the oven, it looks to be either a ceramic or induction type.
Love this house – I could imagine sitting there on a crisp morning drinking coffee and staring out to the ocean.

Incredible,
The view from the bedroom made me fall in love

This house is incredible. I love the use of wood and how the natural landscape interacts with every space. The furnishing is also fantastic, although the bedroom looks unfinished. I would love to know where that dining room table is from.
