Not my cup of tea but I appreciate the work that went into these. I wonder how long their “second life” will last? All those cracks are going to expand

Shane, wood is stronger than you thought. These pieces will last a long time, developing nice patina in the process. I don’t think the cracks are a major concern.

Hi Shane,
Great to see a natural at work and glad to see wood in its natural organic form. I wish people wouuld wake up to the natural process, yes wood expands and contracts and that involes cracking. We have become such a perfectionist society where every thing has to look perfect regardless of …………… Well done and best of luck with future work.
