Adamos Residence by Varda Studio
Varda Studio designed the Adamos Residence in Limassol, Cyprus.

.
Description from the architects:
The luxury residence, located in Limassol, attracts attention with elegant proportion of intersected volumes. The variety of materials- white paint, fair face concrete, wood- highlights an architectural composition, that converges with the yard area. Playful unexpected division of the walls between the yard and the garage entry visually closes relax zone, at the same time it is see-through.

Love the house.
Please could you tell me where the bookcase can be purchased from?
Thanks, Chris

OK, I’m sorry. According to my humble opinion, there are so many wrong things about this house. Where do I begin? The extensive lawns in a Mediterranean country that has a water shortage problem? the uninspired design? the awkward architecture? the wooden floor slightly above the normal floor (perfect for tripping), the totally unsuitable mixture of furnishings? the moving glass partitions? What? Except maybe for the staircase, I hardly find anything else even remotely attractive or cohesive about this project. There is great room for improvement here.

I think my favorite is the rich shade of wood against the cool concrete. Quite a feat.
