This is a fine project come to fruition. Rajiv must be very well pleased with the final results; what else would one expect! The geometric angles playing dancing games with incoming light at different times of the day must be extraordinary to behold… I would love to visit this home in person, up close and personally, not unlike meeting a new friend. However, we are under command and limits to our sight by the IT, here today… Thank you for this view, at any rate. I am grateful! Best Regards, Robert

At the site where it stands, the building really exudes a cadence which reflect the serene environs of Rishikesh.what really caught my intrest is entirely rested on how articulately spaces have been placed. Resplendent work Rajiv!

Firstly Excellent, Awesome work !!!
Secondly , how do you guys pull it off?? I mean finding skilled workers is a major challenge there,I tried to renovate & add an extension to our existing home & boy it was a nightmare, major design & material compromises had to made.
Bravo!

I hope the river doesn’t eat up this nice house.

This is a fantastic project, please don’t get my wrong. My problem with this project is its universal and it sums up the dominance that european architecture has on the training of architects especially when sustainable architecture is slowly making a full circle. The use of concrete in Indian simply means that this house would need a/c which is pointless considering the climate. I would like to see architects develop a vernacular that suits climate and site.

Absolutely awesome .Straight lines which totally excite the mind and are a total feast for the eyes — but does it and will it blend with the general architecture prevalent in the hilly areas — like tiled roofs or is it meant to stand out as different consciously . Having said that it is still a marvel in stone with the outdoors surging inside the interiors and the interiors reaching out to the sky

This house is amazing. So “Starfleet” yet not trite or gimmicky. Very nice.

Raw beauty! great style of thinking..but perhaps perfect anywhere..what exactly makes it stand out from any other western house??it could be any location..I dont see it bringing the calmness of the Ganges into its environment…
