American designer Victor Vetterlein has created the 1×1 LED Desk Lamp.

Description from the designer:

1 x 1 is composed of:  a wood stick (made from factory waste) that is weighted at one end, a bendable aluminum rod with a neoprene cover, and an inset low voltage LED lighting strip.  The colored neoprene base comes in the pre-bent ‘support’ ribbon shape, and the purchaser is free to bend the base into their own configurations to personalize the design.  1×1 gives the consumer the opportunity to be co-creator.
