This is a project where we can again drool over the awesome photos, admire the breathtaking view and not be able to see much of the house and its layout. But I like what I see: the rough stone walls, the contrast between the plain materials and the classy furniture (however too many pieces in places), and the use of light.

Looks very aesthetic but is it just me or is an entire section of the house where the living room is blocked from the view by a giant stone wall facing the ocean? Seems like a total waste.

That stone wall is probably there for a reason. Architects spend a lot of time thinking about projects.

I really like the sun-bathed shot cf_090512_12. It’s very hard to balance interior lighting with harsh mid-day sun without reflections in the windows. Scott Frances did an impeccable job.
