I usually don’t like stonework but this is well executed. What a view from the living area!

Beautiful. Like the monolithic, simple architecture. This is what residential architecture should be- not a loud egotistical statement of the architect’s signature style but simply a serene series of richly textured frames for the breathtaking nature surrounding it as well as the lifestyles within.

I feel the stonework makes this piece feel extremely detached and sterile for some reason that I cannot describe.

What a wonderfully deceptive design. At first glance it has the air of some remote hollywood hills producer’s lair but then when you see the outer facade it all starts to make sense. The diversity of texture is great particularly the stone work being applied inside and out. There’s also a positive sentiment of integration which results in a more sanguine construct. Excellent work.

This is some of the best contemporary stone work I’ve seen in a while.

I agree with what is said here about the beautiful stonework and how it matches the surroundings. Also like the unpretentious interior and the fact that it’s not crammed with furniture. I bet the kids love the bunk beds and the camping feeling.

Nice design, but i see they invested more in their public space than their private areas, bedrooms
