Flexible Bamboo Stool by Grass Studio
As part of the London Design Festival, CONTEMPORIST visited the Tent London design event, where Taiwan-based Grass Studio were exhibiting their flexible bamboo stools.

Description from the designer
I want to promote green craft, to design products that are friendly to our environment. I want the users to be able to appreciate bamboo’s smooth quality and its excellent flexibility. I also thought about how to improve the time-consuming and labor-intensive process. As a result, I replaced part of the hand-made process with machine so that the product can be mass-produced without losing the spirit of craft. The structure demonstrates the elasticity of bamboo and provides maximum comfort. The entire chair is recyclable, due to the use of environmental-friendly laminate bamboo.

These are beautiful and I love that they have flex. I do a lot of school interiors and always spec seating that allows kids to rock and fidget since this is a normal part of their development and allows them to be able to learn better. What is the cost of these stools to ship to the US and to ship to Oman?
