H3 House by 314 Architecture Studio
314 Architecture Studio completed a house in Athens, Greece, that was designed to give the sense of hovering over the water and sailing, inspired by the owners love for yachts.

although its a very fine piece of art, I perceive it as a difficult place to inhabit. My reasons are that: outdoor spaces are less defined, they just exist in “some place” under the shed of the 1st floor.
I don’t see how did the building interact with the site, it rather preferred to keep a distance and shape itself the way it wanted.
There is no clear shots of the interior, but still, the exterior looks frightening as if it is a contemporary jail or incarceration facility.

Looks like an airport. Or a network server.

I think the impact it makes on it’s surroundings is part of it’s attraction for me. It’s not meant to blend in. It’s modern and sharp, bright white, raised above the ground. It stands out like a ship on the sea just as it was intended. The interior comfort would depend on the taste of whoever is the owner.

A house should also be enjoyed from the inside.I would have liked to see some shots of the rooms and the views from inside the house.

a great work very beautiful especially the piles. it quickly catches the eye but i think it has no sailing spirit at all despite the pool of course and the white color.
Keep up the good work. we support.
