Description from Luigi Rosselli Architects

Set on a sloping site facing Sydney Harbour headlands, with magnificent mature Spotted Blue Gum (Corymbia citriodora), the design works with its dual frontage to produce architecture ‘in the round’. The peace fingers plan divides the open living room and kitchen and the rumpus room below, from the dwellings bedrooms, with the main stair bisecting the two. The two wings steer sight lines towards the views of the harbour, while improving the views of the neighbour behind. The first floor cantilevers over the yard, maximising the lawn area below where the clients children to play. At the rear of the site a deep black pool is said to be home to a bunyip.
