This New Lollipop Inspired Lighting Collection Looks Kind Of Tasty

August 11, 2016

The Lollipop Collection, made up of a floor lamp, table lamp and pendant lamps, has been designed as a playful reminder of what it is like to look through a glass bottle into the sun, or when you hold a lollipop up to the light.

These new lamps, designed by Slovakian designer Boris Klimek, are made of amorphous glass plates. When combined with the metal holder and inserted light source, the result is a collection of lights that look like lollipops.

Using a technique of slumped glass and exploring ideas of glass coloring, glint and internal structure, the designer created the Lollipop collection that consists of table and stand-alone lamps, as well as pendant lights.
