One Take Architects have recently completed the transformation of the Silver Linings Boutique Country Hotel in Yixing, China.
The architects broke up the flat front of the hotel and added angled balconies, using locally sourced bamboo wood to create interest on the facade.

Inside the hotel, wood elements are abundant, and they have been paired with concrete and white walls for a modern and updated interior. A curved concrete accent with a wood desk, is home to the lobby.

A staircase with stone tile, wood handrails and a large multi-floor wood bookshelf, connects the various levels of the hotel.

The wood elements continue through to the hotel rooms. Live edge wood headboard have been mounted to the wall behind the beds, and the beds sit on a raised platform, creating a separation from the rest of the room.

Adjacent to the bedroom area is the bathroom. A large window in the bathroom, and a skylight above bed, allows natural light to flood the hotel room.

The bathroom features a built-in bathtub with a pebble front, that sits below a circular window.
