While laundry rooms are great for a whole slew of reasons, they just aren’t feasible for everyone. If you find yourself in the category of people wishing they had a dedicated laundry space that could be closed away when not in use but don’t have the room, consider hiding your laundry units in closets in the hallway, like the ones seen here in a home designed by Connie Young Design.

This set up allows you to easily access your washer and dryer whenever you need them and gives you the freedom to include extra things like pull out folding tables and ironing boards. It also lets you close the cupboards and keep laundry out of your mind until the overflowing laundry baskets bring you back to reality.
