The Granduca Light Sculpture by Diego Chilò

Recently presented in Milan during Euroluce 2009, the Granduca light sculpture was designed by Diego Chilò for the Italian glass art and lighting manufacturer Venini.

The sculpture can grow up to nine meters in height, and features a delicate internal frame, which supports a myriad of small plates in opalescent glass that form a continuous surface of tiles that play with light and shadows.
