Tucked into a small hill sitting on the edge of an apple orchard, you’ll find the Applesauna and Wellness Centre, the latest addition to the Apfel (Apple) Hotel, designed by noa*.
Located in Saltusio, Italy, the sauna and relaxation room offer guests incredible views of the mountains and orchards while they sit in blissful relaxation.
From the outside, the Finnish sauna appears to be just another grass-covered hill. But upon further inspection you’ll notice a wooden door surrounded by a concrete frame.

Once inside the wellness centre, stairs carry you up to the Applesauna where you’ll enjoy the views of the orchard and mountains while letting hot steam loosen and relax you.

Curved wooden seating has been tiered to take advantage of the view and allow you to get the most out of your sauna by providing dual temperature levels.
