The Princeton Architectural Press has sent us a copy of the recently published book by Jennifer Siegal called “More Mobile: Portable Architecture for Today.” It’s the follow-up to her 2002 book “Mobile: The Art of Portable Architecture.”
The book is filled with fun, interesting, and creative examples of mobile and portable architecture like tents, trailers, shipping containers, inflatable buildings, and a variety of other creatively designed projects. The book mostly features compact mobile living units, but there’s also examples of a temporary school classroom, concert stages, pavilions, and retail stores.
Jennifer Siegal is the founder of the California based Office of Mobile Design.
