The Neon Table:

From Neo Design:

The Neon side / coffee table is a project on which Vairinhos integrates very high standards of industrial research and design. The daring bented steel structure shows not only how far the designer uses his design skills but also the experienced industrial techniques.

The Neon table, bent in one single piece, shows once again the flexibility of steel and how flowing and organic shapes can get. Its tubular versatile contour has itself something mysterious and its geometric and playful essence is somehow promiscuous. Anyway, this butterfly shaped table constitutes the ultimate highlight on any environment.

The Chemistry Chair:

From Neo Design:

“Featuring interesting and unique design possibilities, geometric shapes create the best ignition for creativity.”

Under this statement emerges the concept connected to the creation of the Chemistry armchair an upholstery modular equipment conceived to be as an individual armchair, a love seat for two, or in case of a stretched variation, a cosy and social sofa. Elegant round and straight shapes are inviting to sit and to try a new seating experience. Every shape, from the simple to the most complex, match perfectly in order to contribute for a  homogeneous 3D composition.

Taking the alchemist’s task, Vairinhos tried to combine different levels of complexity on the same equipment, creating something close to a chemical formula or a love potion, a symbiosis between the purist-spiritual and the romantic-drama with the handmade details.

The equipment manufacture techniques are quite simple. The main body is produced in laser cuted polyurethane foam, which permits the whole equipment to be acceptably light, positioned over a frame of wood, covered at the end with a carefully combination of fine fabrics

The daring contrast of shapes and the Low seating height, creates a new impression of space and sophistication and at the same time the guarantee of integration on the most classic and modern environments. Above all, there is something chemical, experimental and unexplainable about it: the interaction of “boiling molecules” and something just about to blow! Pure passion, the “WOW effect” for observers.

The Bonsai Vase:

From Neo Design:

Flowers are an important element on day by day life. Making part of our routine, flowers set the mood and transmit emotions.

Flowers should be then the one and only eye-catching on any circumstances. This way, the designer showing his deep respect and passion for nature, thinks that an important attention should be given to the choice of the vase.

The vase Bonsai is inspired on the original millenarian horticultural bonsai philosophy. Anyway, a reinvented concept were borned: the vase is the frame and that it shouldn’t be putted upon the masterpiece that is the flower. This solitaire vase of sharpen appearance seeks a high aesthetic perfection that reminds the traditional bonsai vase itself.

The neutral white colour chosen for the glaze is also an important element to play with possible arrangements, thinking that only a flower with colour allows a vase of alive colours. It is difficult to resist to the fascination of this vase. it’s like having a piece of nature and beauty in the palm of your hands.
