Project description:
Millions of square feet of warehouse roofs exist in our cities. Most are occupied only by pigeons and mechanical units. In Seattle, many warehouses are near waterways and have territorial views of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This project is one example of what is possible if we look at these forgotten landscapes as new opportunities. This single family residential / caretakers unit sits on the roof of the Stimson Marina in the Ballard neighborhood.
