The Money Saving Egg by Johannes Hoyos

August 16, 2008

Contemporist readers might remember that we featured Johannes Hoyos’ Balance Vase before.  They’re distinctive because they’re made from an ostrich egg and designed to balance from the weight inside.  Well, now he’s sent us news about his latest creation, the Money Saving Egg, which is an ostrich egg that is made to hold money until it’s full (or you get desperate for cash), at which time the only way to access it is to smash the egg.

Watch a video of him demonstrating the egg – here.
