Earlier this year, architect Sheri Olson and her family moved into this house she designed for them. The home is located in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood, and is actually 30% smaller than what the local zoning permitted, which was part of a strategy to create a compact, efficient and economical house. Rooms throughout the home are oriented to capture sunlight, which further contributes to the home’s energy efficiency.
