The SIPs House by Seed Architecture

August 14, 2008

Darin Dougherty, the founder of Seed Architecture, sent us an email to let us know about a house in Portland, Oregon they’ve designed, which is attempting to achieve LEED Platinum status.  It’s called the SIPs House, because the entire house (walls, floors and ceilings) is built out of SIPs panels.  The house is already under construction, and they’ve created a blog to document the whole building process.
