A small cabin was designed by Dutch design firm cc-studio, for the volunteer workers at Noorderpark in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Surrounded by lush foliage, the new cabin was built on the site of a previous building, so no trees needed to be cut down.

Two large sliding doors open up the entire corner of the building, blending the interior with the surrounding area, which is a little green meadow where sheep graze to keep the young trees at bay.

Local firewood is used to fuel the kitchen and fireplace.

Inside the wood lined cabin, there is storage, a washroom, and a place for eating.
