In the ‘NAIL IT’ nail art salon, in Zapopan, Mexico, designed by Estudio ALA, a ceiling of color blocked sticks has been created.

As there is a lot of color used in nail art designs, the bottom half of the space has been kept white, to ensure that the nail art being made would be the only color seen.

The top half of the studio is home to the bold colorful sticks, that aren’t just there to look good.

The different colors of sticks define the various stations for each of the nail artists in the studio. You can see their names on the right.
