Architecture firm McLaren.Excell included these moveable stairs as part of their Park Corner Barn project, where a late-eighteenth century barn in Oxfordshire, England, was transformed into a contemporary home.
The stairs which lead to the upstairs accommodation, weigh one tonne, and are made from black steel with a rough textured finish provided by the natural patina of the material.
