Using custom bricks, Hooba Design has designed a new building in Tehran, Iran, with uniquely patterned walls, both inside and out.

Multiple different brick designs were used for the building, which are visible on both the exterior and the interior.

The first of the brick designs include small round windows that are filled with glass. When light shines through, it creates a patterned design on the walls. However, when there’s no external light, the glass reflects its surroundings.

The modern bricks with the small windows also cast shadows throughout the building, and provide light to otherwise darker areas.

The second type of brick has small round indents that reflect the design of the circular windows. This allows texture to be included on the walls, adding interest to the overall design.
