YLAB Arquitectos have hidden a desk in plain sight when they designed the renovation of a small and modern apartment in Barcelona.

The designers had a custom furniture piece made for their clients, that sits under the window and beside the bathroom door, providing much needed storage.

The furniture piece has a hinged top, that when opened, can be used as a desk. A couple of outlets are also hidden beneath the hinged top, as well as an extension, that provides more space for working, when needed.

The hinged top can also be closed so that the extended desk portion sits below the top of the wood furniture piece.
