CL3 Architects has designed a building that features columns of plants throughout the interior, creating a green oasis in an industrial neighborhood in Hong Kong.

Columns of vertical gardens have been combined with metallic strips to create eye-catching moments as people walk through the building. The rows of plants are divided by metallic rings that wrap around the column. These rings of different widths, help to hide the self irrigation and lighting system.

The plant columns traverse through multiple floors and alongside the stairs, allowing people to enjoy a close-up view as they climb the stairs.

The plants continue to the outdoor areas of the building, wrapping around the outline of the building and creating a place for the building occupants to relax outside.

The outdoor gardens also have hidden lighting that highlights the edge of the curved garden border.
