Corrugated metal siding is an interesting choice for modern houses, and when SHED Architecture & Design completed the Main Street House in Seattle, Washington, that’s the material they chose to use.

The corrugated metal siding provides a textural element to the house and allows the wood doors and window frames to stand out.

To create a seamless look, custom mitered corner panels were used, allowing the horizontal lines on the facades to connect.

The corrugated metal panels have a finish that is intended to look like zinc.

The metal siding also complements the concrete that’s found on the rear facade of the home and the galvanized metal grating that’s used as a railing for the patio.
