Jaime Juarez Arquitecto has designed a house in Morelia city, Mexico, that features a small indoor garden in the otherwise empty space under the stairs.
The green of the dense vegetation contrasts with the black stone floors and complements the wood path found in the lobby of the home.
The variety of plants used adds a tropical touch to the white walls and softens the lobby, while the design of the stairs ensures the garden can also be seen through the treads.
