Taylor Smyth Architects in collaboration with Cecconi Simone, have completed a modern house in Toronto, Canada, that features a limestone exterior.

Indiana Limestone and split faced Ontario Algonquin stone clad the exterior of this modern house.

The house has been clad in large slabs of Indiana Limestone with a base of split-faced Ontario Algonquin stone, while a tall window features bronze privacy screens.

Both the Indiana Limestone and locally sourced Algonquin rubble stone can be found throughout the neighborhood, and detailing around the windows produces shades and shadows that break up the flatness of the walls.
