New York-based designer and architect Bjarke Ballisager, has created ‘Together and Apart’, a wood side table whose height can be adjusted.

The table is designed as two interlocking blocks of wood that each has one edge with a saw-toothed surface.

The table, which can also be used as a stool, laptop stand, or a bedside table, has two different sizes, and are available in solid white oak, ebonized
ash wood, and cork.
