In a home designed by Atelier Design N Domain, the designers chose to include custom-designed light wood shelving that wraps around a doorway, connecting the reading room with the media room.
On the other side of the doorway, there’s even more shelving, matching the wood design of the opposite side. The shelving also includes low cabinets with wood slat fronts, adding storage for items you don’t always want to be seen.
One of the main design aspects of the shelving is the hidden lighting that’s been installed underneath each of the shelves. Not only does this create ambient light, but it’s also used to highlight the decorative items and books displayed on the shelves.
