Next month during Milan Design Week 2017, design office Carlo Ratti Associati and Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina will be unveiling their latest design named SWISH.

It’s a kinetic wood stool made from 27 thin wood elements that have been produced using CNC machinery. Each wood strip is interlocked through a system of individually designed junctions and hinges, with each being different from the other.
