Choeff Levy Fischman has designed a modern house in Miami, Florida, and as part of the design, they included an outdoor entertaining area with a sunken lounge.

The sunken lounge, which sits between the infinity-edge pool and covered kitchen/dining area, has a couple of steps on either side of an outdoor fire pit that lead down to the seating area.

Hidden lighting beneath the wrap-around bench seating creates a soft glow and allows people to easily see, even at night. By having the seating lower than the surrounding levels, people can easily talk with anyone in the pool.

Planters have been added on either side of the sunken lounge to help create a sense of privacy from both the yard and the interior of the house.
