Natura Futura Arquitectura has completed the Bardales Urban Training Center in Babahoyo, Ecuador, that features large wood screens on its facade.

The facade avoids the use of glass and instead employs a 26 foot (8m) high wooden screen that can be opened when needed.

By using moveable wood screens, it allows the gym to easily control of ventilation, and the amount of sunlight that enters the workout space.
