33bY Architecture has designed a modern brick house in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.
Surrounded by forest, the ‘BST House’, which also has a guest house, features a facade of hand-formed brick.
Complementing and contrasting the brown brick are the black steel window frames, panels, and balcony railing.
Apart from the tall trees of the surrounding forest, the home also has expansive landscaping designed by Alex Zinevich, and includes more than 500 different plant species.
There’s also a long rectangular swimming pool with a deck furnished with sun loungers on one side, and a path on the other.
Low gabion walls define the edge of the pool deck and provide a separation from a lower path.
Another water element has been added to the landscape design in the form of a natural pond with a waterfall.
