An outdoor fire pit was designed as part of the renovation project for a house by Heliotrope Architects on Orcas Island in Washington State.
The fire pit has an octagonal design with a concrete frame that has been lowered into the hillside so that it doesn’t block the water views from the house.

The fire pit is also lined with wood and is open on one side, with a backrest on the other, creating an ideal place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the warmth coming from the concrete fire bowl.
