If you’re thinking about creating shelves, it’s natural to think about just how much stuff you could potentially fit on those shelves, but when Anne-Sophie Poirier designed this pastry shop, instead of creating shelves with depth, she went the other direction and designed these relatively shallow shelves. The result is a good choice if you’re more interested in highlighting what’s on the shelves, instead of just mass storage.
